Battery not strong enough for the ignition system - This is users using old packs. This is by far the number one problem that we field. The failure mode is - no ignition.
Battery incorrectly hooked up to the ignition system - This is the user crossing the wires when installing the plug.
Battery not charged.
Battery inadvertently left on and drained.
Defective battery pack.
User inadvertently damages connecting wires during engine installation. No power available for ignition system.
User trying to modify the spark plug cap.
User trying to modify the length of the spark plug wire!!!! - Gene... you would think that a fella would think this one through before they cut....
User unscrews the sensor unit to reposition it. Sensor unit is positioned incorrectly, and the engine fails to fire or runs erratically.
User forgets to install battery pack, and connects the sensor to the receiver.
User does not install the spark plug cap correctly onto the spark plug - erratic running or no running.
11b. Part 2. The engine runs great and then the user removes the spark plug cap and re-installs it incorrectly.
Defective ignition unit - several hours after initial start up.
