Order the system and save! We recommend the TBM Power System 2.1 for gas airplanes with electronic ignitions up to 40cc in size. This system contains LiIon batteries with a regulator and ignition battery eliminator and hidden switch. This is a lighter set up than the powersystem 1 because it has only one battery pack instead of 2 battery packs. The drawback is that there is no redundancy in the batteries.

- WRC Wike R/C Products IBEF Ignition Battery Eliminating Filter - (WRCIBEFV2.1)
The Wike R/C IBEF Battery Ignition Eliminator Filter saves the weight of an ignition battery and provides a IMAA required transmitter controlled ignition kill switch. The IBEF is designed to be plugged into the receiver and run the ignition from the receiver batteries or power system. This simplifies charging by only having to charge receiver batteries. The IBEF also has a high efficiency switching regulator that provides power the ignition and also some very good filters that prevent noise and interference from the ignition system from getting back into the receiver.
4-cell Nicad/NiMh can be used without a regulator, all other batteries require a regulator. 5-cell Nixx, LiFe, LiIon, LiPo etc. must be regulated below 6v. Some ignitions prefer the voltage to be 5.0 – 5.5v, some prefer 5.5 – 6.0v. We suggest an IBEF which has a voltage regulator so that the voltage can be set as necessary. DLE and other Chinese engines prefer the higher voltage range. DA engines prefer the lower voltage range. If in doubt, use the higher voltage range. If the engine misses, one possible cause is the ignition voltage. An ignition will not be harmed running the lower voltage, it may just miss from time to time.
- MPI 5-6.5V Miracle Switch MKII Voltage Regulator Switch - (MPIRM6N)
This electronic Miracle Switch replaces the regular mechanical switch and includes a built in voltage regulator. Under normal condition, the switch functions like a regular switch. However, when the switch or its wires fail, the current continues to flow. The only way to turn it off under this condition is to disconnect the Rx battery pack.

WARNING - Gasoline and Turbine powered R/C model aircraft are not manufactured to withstand unlimited G's. Any R/C model aircraft can fail, be it a wing folding up or a fuselage breaking in half under too high of a load. Just as any full size aircraft, model R/C aircraft have a maximum G rating. Because you are not in the plane flying it and experiencing the G's and reading the G-meter, it is more difficult to judge the G's on the aircraft, and it is very easy to exceed the limits of the aircraft. Understand that if you perform a snap roll, parachute, wall, blender, knife edge loop, or pull hard on the elevator at almost any speed, you can be putting in excess of 15 G's, even in excess of 30 G's, and most aircraft can only designed to take 10-12 G's. If you perform any violent maneuver, you can break your plane. When I perform hard maneuvers, especially for the first time on an airframe, I am prepared for a failure and am prepared for it as best I can be. This mainly includes performing the maneuver far enough away from spectators that in event of a failure that I am not endangering others. In addition, be prepared for the manufacturer to not pay for a new airframe which is broken during flight. It is common practice for any manufacturer to not replace an airframe which breaks in the air or upon landing. I have only seen manufacturers replace airframes when they have received many of the same failures and the manufacturer determines that there was a design or manufacturing error. If you break an airframe, and you are the only one to do so, then it is probably not the fault of the manufacturer. Please fly safely, and avoid full throttle operation other than at low airspeeds.

High stress areas such as firewalls, motor boxes, wing mounts, landing gear mounts, etc., are areas of high concern. Seek help if necessary. In not case shall TBM be liable for the cost of any product it offers which is not manufactured by TBM. The liability to the manufacturer cannot exceed the original cost of the purchased item.
