Included with the TBM Power System is a pin and flag switch system to provide the ultimate in realism for your plane. The charge jack does not show. A pin with a red flag which states “remove before flying” replaces the usual charge slider switch. Included is the Wike RC IBEF (Ignition Battery Eliminator Filter) which provides a remote, isolated switch, and provides ignition power from the receiver battery. The IBEF combined with two receiver batteries provides backup power for the receiver and the ignition for higher reliability.
The TBM Power System has enough energy for about six 15 minute flights depending on your flying style and size of airplane. We highly recommend this system for any plane up to 60cc for high reliability and scale appearance.

One of the best switches available. It is failsafe, so a failure goes to the on position. Has 22ga wire. Uses a pin and flag or slider to turn it on and off.

- WRC Wike R/C Products IBEF Ignition Battery Eliminating Filter - (WRCIBEFV2.1)
The Wike R/C IBEF Battery Ignition Eliminator Filter saves the weight of an ignition battery and provides a IMAA required transmitter controlled ignition kill switch. The IBEF is designed to be plugged into the receiver and run the ignition from the receiver batteries or power system. This simplifies charging by only having to charge receiver batteries. The IBEF also has a high efficiency switching regulator that provides power the ignition and also some very good filters that prevent noise and interference from the ignition system from getting back into the receiver.
4-cell Nicad/NiMh can be used without a regulator, all other batteries require a regulator. 5-cell Nixx, LiFe, LiIon, LiPo etc. must be regulated below 6v. Some ignitions prefer the voltage to be 5.0 – 5.5v, some prefer 5.5 – 6.0v. We suggest an IBEF which has a voltage regulator so that the voltage can be set as necessary. DLE and other Chinese engines prefer the higher voltage range. DA engines prefer the lower voltage range. If in doubt, use the higher voltage range. If the engine misses, one possible cause is the ignition voltage. An ignition will not be harmed running the lower voltage, it may just miss from time to time.
- MPI 5-6.5V Miracle Switch MKII Voltage Regulator Switch - (MPIRM6N)
This electronic Miracle Switch replaces the regular mechanical switch and includes a built in voltage regulator. Under normal condition, the switch functions like a regular switch. However, when the switch or its wires fail, the current continues to flow. The only way to turn it off under this condition is to disconnect the Rx battery pack.

WARNING - Gasoline and Turbine powered R/C model aircraft are not manufactured to withstand unlimited G's. Any R/C model aircraft can fail, be it a wing folding up or a fuselage breaking in half under too high of a load. Just as any full size aircraft, model R/C aircraft have a maximum G rating. Because you are not in the plane flying it and experiencing the G's and reading the G-meter, it is more difficult to judge the G's on the aircraft, and it is very easy to exceed the limits of the aircraft. Understand that if you perform a snap roll, parachute, wall, blender, knife edge loop, or pull hard on the elevator at almost any speed, you can be putting in excess of 15 G's, even in excess of 30 G's, and most aircraft can only designed to take 10-12 G's. If you perform any violent maneuver, you can break your plane. When I perform hard maneuvers, especially for the first time on an airframe, I am prepared for a failure and am prepared for it as best I can be. This mainly includes performing the maneuver far enough away from spectators that in event of a failure that I am not endangering others. In addition, be prepared for the manufacturer to not pay for a new airframe which is broken during flight. It is common practice for any manufacturer to not replace an airframe which breaks in the air or upon landing. I have only seen manufacturers replace airframes when they have received many of the same failures and the manufacturer determines that there was a design or manufacturing error. If you break an airframe, and you are the only one to do so, then it is probably not the fault of the manufacturer. Please fly safely, and avoid full throttle operation other than at low airspeeds.

All parts of high stress must be inspected and reinforced if necessary by a competent builder. Some parts should be glued again. High stress areas such as firewalls, motor boxes, wing mounts, landing gear mounts, etc., are areas of high concern. Seek help if necessary. In not case shall TBM be liable for the cost of any product it offers which is not manufactured by TBM. The liability to the manufacturer cannot exceed the original cost of the purchased item. Further, TBM reserves the right to change or modify this warranty without notice. In that TBM has no control over the final assembly or materials used for final assembly, no liability shall be assumed nor accepted for any damage resulting from the use by the user of the final user-assembled product.
